I remember my best friend in high school having this and listening to it in his bedroom. I know that we were really high and probably drinking cheap vodka, but I know that i didn’t quite get it because I didn’t really (still don’t) listen to free jazz. I think that it mostly stuck with me because it had all these references in the song titles and liner notes to the Spanish Civil War, which has always been a big deal to me.

I just rediscovered this and fuck is it good.
